I have worked on jobs where AWS could not be moved due to "Human Factors" and resistance from the operators. Whilst AWS is merely a reminder appliance its precise and repeatable "180m" location has been condidered for other purposes, i.e. identifying the post in 180m in advance! (I apologise for my dire phraseology).
